Founded in 2016, Sierra Theological Seminary exists to adequately equip men and women for ministry and to accurately handle the word of God. This is done in a manner that is both faithful to the text of scripture and applicable to the contemporary audience. This is accomplished through graduate-level biblical, theological, and pastoral education with equal weight in both ancient truths and modern application. Specifically this education is to be:

We are confident that a training of this caliber will produce men and women who are capable of handling the text of scripture in a faithful manner; who are aware of the history of Christian thought and practice; who are effective in the leadership of the local church; and who are able to engage in current and ongoing theological discussions.  Beyond all of these things, Sierra Theological Seminary exists to advance and foster the love of both students and faculty for their God and Savior.  This Christ centered love will then extend to fellow students, prospective congregations, and the sinful world through the proclamation of the Gospel of Grace.     To the Glory of God.

Sierra Theological Seminary admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
